I use this 20lb braid primality for beach fishing: surf perch, sargo, calico bass, halibut, white seabass, and many other socal species. The sand has not affected the braid much at all after many years of use. I've had fish pull me into rocks and the braid held up. Cuts kelp quite well. Very good braid!

Have 20lbs on both a light conv jigging and spinning setup. Low diameter, no stretch and minimal tip wraps. Great quality stuff!

I bought this braid based on a friends recommendation. He said that Jerry Brown SOLID CORE braid is the only line to use on Avet reels. He has it on al 5 of his reels!
