Have used the 80 and 60 pound test prior on my Lever Drag Penn reels with great success.
This 25 pound test is on a Penn 6500 spinning reel.Line flat,casts smooth ad can't bee seen in the water.Perfect set up for Ling/Cobia ..Dorado in the Gulf.!

I have used heavy versions of this line on my lever drag reels with great success.
This 30 pound line went on my FiN-Nor spinning reel.Performed as expected..smooth layout,,no tangles.
Love the camo color...
Fish just can not see it !

Spooled my Fin Nor reel with 60 pound test.Had 80 pound on it but found it a little stiff.Caught 4 Red Snapper that weighed in 8 to 11 pounds.
Used 10 oz wiights to go deep for these big girls 60 pounds is perfect !Also pulled in 2 Big Kings and a 40 pound Shark that I released..love this camo line,

I also use their mono leader material and Black Widow lines and I love this stuff. Casts alright, but its strong, durable, resists abrasions very well. I've reeled in quite a few nice fish this past spring and summer with no problems at all. Fished it around jettys and rocking areas and never a fray or line snap. Was stuck on bottom very badly once and I had to cut the line… read more with my knife, it just wouldn't break. I am very pleased with all Hi Sea lines I use and recommend them to anyone and everyone.
