Seems to be a quality product. Used it on some penn 30's. have a few trips on them now, no obvious signs of deterioration. Time will tell. So far im very pleased with the product for the price.

This line is very easy to work with tying knots etc. and seems to disappear when you throw it in the water. Ive had great luck in the past while Chunking tuna with it.

I use Quattro 80-lb and 100-lb Quattro camo mono for top shots above my super-braid on all of my trolling outfits and it does the job. Blends in nicely and also is tough enough to resist casual abrasion and still bring the big ones to boat side. This ties easily to the braid via a Bristol knot and lock and saves me hundreds on expensive pre-made top-shots. I keep a spool on my charter… read more boat and can redo top shots in less than a minute and be back in the water catching fish.

Wilmont,<p>I would use a Double Uni knot to tie 80 mono to 80 braid. I use that on most of my reels where the braid is solid (not hollow core). Fairly easy knot to tie, strong, and won't slip fighting big fish. Please let us know if there is anything el
