Great rod, it is extremely light, weights only 7.5 oz, in your palm it is pretty much weightless. Pair it up with a shimano low profile reel like the Chronarch or the Curado and you have a combo that is less than a pound in weight. The tip is sensitive enough to pick up those soft bites.
