Bad Ass Rod!

Tod

In the waters of Idaho the Salmon and Steel Head are the Bad Boy's of the river! I love pan fish but for excitement and an experience of a life time you have to put these two at the top of the fresh water list. This rod has got to be the most sensitive and sturdy rod I have ever applied on the river! The quality of this rod leads me to believe that this will be the last rod I read more will ever need to purchase. Spend the money and run with quality equipment it will be the smartest thing you ever do. I promise you will not be sorry.

Great rod, it is extremely light, weights only 7.5 oz, in your palm it is pretty much weightless. Pair it up with a shimano low profile reel like the Chronarch or the Curado and you have a combo that is less than a pound in weight. The tip is sensitive enough to pick up those soft bites. Handles big fish, 30 pound salmon with ease. Great backbone, moderate action helps to put on read more a sexy display as the rod bends, looks great. The finish is also nice, one thing that you have to watch out for it the fragility of the guides, if you take care of your rod, you will be fine, but an average fisherman such as myself can damage the guides fairly easily if you are a bit careless at times. So far so good with this rod.
