Great rod, it is extremely light, weights only 7.5 oz, in your palm it is pretty much weightless. Pair it up with a shimano low profile reel like the Chronarch or the Curado and you have a combo that is less than a pound in weight. The tip is sensitive enough to pick up those soft bites. The finish is also nice, one thing that you have to watch out for it the fragility of the guides, if you take care of your rod, you will be fine, but an average fisherman such as myself can damage the guides fairly easily if you are a bit careless at times. So far so good with this rod.
