G-Loomis IMX Panfish Spinning Rods
A dynamic of light-duty and ultra-light freshwater spinning rods. We designed them primarily for panfish but they satisfy a variety of different APPLICATIONS like small in-line spinners for bass; darts and light jigs for shad; spinners for trout; small bait for bonefish; and even spoons for sea trou...t. Now dont get us wrong... they arent like our spin jig rods. They are more of a LIGHT-DUTY all-around spinning rod with relatively soft butt-sections and light tips. None are rated for over 10-pound line and most are in the 4- to 6- pound test range. If youre fishing in tight quaters or really small creeks wed suggest the shorter models but if you frequent larger streams or ponds and lakes wed reccommend the longer rods because they protect light line better and give you increased casting DISTANCE and a longer more effective hook set.

Got the G-Loomis SR6010IMX to match with my Abu reel for trout and panfish fishing. It has an amazing feel on the line and casting. I can cast a 1/32 with ease and can feel the movement of the bait as I reel it back. Its very strong rod as well, its PERFECT!
Live bait for smallmouth bass on the Susquehanna River

I bought this rod to fish with Hellgrammites on the Susquehanna River. It has the perfect combo of casting power for light baits and backbone to land 16+ inch smallmouth on a fast moving river. It is a long casting rod. Hellgrammites cant be casted with too much power or they come off the hook. This rod is perfect for live bait.

I use this rod to fish for bass and white perch on lake winnipesaukee currently. It is so sensitive, i feel the bite 100%, it is physically impossible to not feel everything your lure or worm is doing. Best purchase of my life.
