ES UNA CA?A MUY LIGERA Y RESISTENTE, HE UTILIZADO LA DE 7FT Y ME AGRADO MUCHO POR ELLO PIENSO COMPRAR LA 7'6" PARA TENER LOGRAR DISTANCIAS MAS LARGAS
(IT IS A VERY LIGHT AND RESISTANT ROD, I HAVE USED THE 7FT ROD AND I LIKED IT A LOT, THEREFORE I THINK OF BUYING THE 7'6" TO HAVE ACHIEVE LONGER DISTANCES)

Everything is nice about this inshore pole but the only complaint I have is that my Diawa does not seat flat on this pole.

Asked by Zach 2 years ago

Ive heard these rods dont fit some reels. Will a Daiwa BG 3000 fit on the 7 medium 2-piece rod? If not, which 3000 or 4000 sizes would you recommend?

KRAIG FRIEDMAN 2 years ago

Zach, thanks for your question. We checked out the BG 300 and it fits on the FEN-0368.

Does the Shimano Baitrunner 6000D fit onto 7'2" MH's reel seat?

Hi Ken, The Shimano Baitrunner 6000 D will fit on a Fenwick HMGIN76MH-FS HMG Inshore Spinning Rod. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.

Have a HMGIN76M-FS and cant decide the better pairing; a PENN Fierce III 3000 or 4000 (spooled w/ #20 PowerPro). The 3000 feels a little light of balanced, the 4000 a bit heavy of balanced. Targeting east end LI back bays, inlets and coves, using jig he

Would this pair well with a 2500 battle or conflict in medium light

Bernie - TackleDirect Customer Service 2 years ago

Hello Noah,

The battle or the conflict will pair well with the 7 foot medium light fenwick. It will balance out nicely and have a nice responsive feel.

Asked by Sam 3 years ago

Would the medium light split grip paired with a 2k bg with 10lb braid be a god finesse rod for 1-10 lb tarpon in open water and redfish trout and snook nothing over 35 inches in structure

Paul Olah 3 years ago

Medium light could work however tarpon are super hard fighters and you may want to take the step up to a medium rod to make sure you have some backbone for the fight. The BG 2000 however will be a really good match for this rod.

Asked by Vincent Cashman 3 years ago

how does the 7'6" M stack up for a 3000 size reel

Billy - TackleDirect Customer Service 3 years ago

This rod paired with a 3000 sized reel would be a nice, light inshore setup for sure

Asked by Eloic Plante 3 years ago

Is the blank of the HMG inshore the same as the normal HMG? I’m used to the HMG in Medium power and I’m wondering if I should go with the HMG inshore in Medium or MH.

TackleDirect Customer Service 3 years ago

Fenwick does list both HMG and HMG inshore as graphite carbon bound blanks

Asked by David Ball 3 years ago

I have a Penn Conflict II model 5000 spinning reel and need to know if this rod is large enough to hold the reel?

Austin Kearney 3 years ago

This rod may be a little small for that reel unless you go with thew 7'6" or 8' models.

Asked by Troy Fredell 3 years ago

Would this rod be a good match for a Cabo 50 or 60 reel ? Thanks

Alex T 3 years ago

Depending on what rod model you are looking into, there are a wide variety to choose from, Generally i would recommend no more than a 4000 or 5000 size reel for inshore applications, and judging this rod as being on the light side for inshore rods i would

Asked by Michael 3 years ago

Is this a comparable rod to the new battalion 2 inshore rods? Or should I wait for the penn set up for my 2500 battle 3?

Alex Trommelen 3 years ago

I would say these two rods are fairly comparable, these rods will be more sensitive than the Battalion II Inshore rods, where as the Penn will have a much tougher stiffer feel. Same priced rod, both will work great for any inshore applications you wish to
