Great Rod
Not only does it look good, it is well balanced with a 2000-3000 reel. I used the Penn 2500 Btl 3 on mine. Sensitivity is superb for light bites as well
Perfect Sheephead and dock rod.
Love this rod for pitching off the boat at docks and bridges. Use for Sheephead, but have caught 30"+ snook with it. Really light and maneuverable for close structure fishing when a long pole and distance of cast is not needed.
Ripped off
Got this rod from my son for my birthday first time out got snagged up gave her a little tug snapped like a twig what a piece of crap
Great fishing pole
Been using as a back up on the boat with a penn slammer reel. So far so good. Caught a 42lb fish on this pole.
Zero stars, actually.
I just received the 8'6", two piece, ML, spinning rod. I had it out of the shipping tube and unwrapped for less than a minute and the rod snapped about 18" back from the tip. I was giving it a shake and a mild bend - easily, much less pressure than a fish would impart - and it just snapped in two. Pure junk.
