This rod is perfectly good for inshore, it can handle a bull red with enough sensitivity to feel a trout bite.

Bought the rod under the impression that it was made in the USA as the 5 other Falcon rods I have are. Way overpriced for Chinese manufacture.. Buy the same rod at Wally World for 29.95... Guides are no better nor is the blank..
