At the time I was looking to match my Accurist S3Blue, with a fast action Lt.Blue rod, after searching I came across this. I'm told it has the power and action to be a contender for my inshore salt fishing. Will put it to use when bucktailing in fluke country, Nj. It's 7'6" which makes it difficult for traveling to Florida, but need to test it out come April in NJ.
Unfortunately, Duckett does not list the line and lure ratings on all of these models. I was able to find that the 7'6" H version is rated for 12-20lb. test mono, which is roughly equivalent to 40-65lb. test braid. This rod is also rated for 3/8-3/4oz. lu
Yes, that would be a good set-up for lighter inshore fishing in your area. These rods pair well with a low-profile casting reel like the Accurist.
