If you have a use for a MH spinning rod

Tatulas are awesome rods for the money. I got the 7'2" MH for a froggin' rod. Light for it's size, great action. I fish out of a kayak and wanted the extra length to keep frogs and other plastics on top. Works well, but is very technique specific, for me anyway. I find rods that are 6'6"- 6'10" more comfortable for general freshwater applications. This would also be a great inshore read more saltwater rod though.

Super light and strong rod. Love working the poppers with this rod … I paid it up with a daiwa fuego 4000 light…. Killer combo love it !!!!

I go to rivers and mangroves with this combo just amazing .

Great rods for the money

These are great rods, that can compete with rods that cost a good bit more. I own the 7' M and the 7'6" ML/M and both have been excellent. Very light and sensitive with great build quality. I also love the design of the handle as I tend to hold my spinning rods with my hand further forward. This handle design is the most comfortable I have ever used.

Super right and durable, very easy to cast and rolling. It’s been 3 month since I got this rod and caught over 20 large mouse basses. Great looking black rod.

The rod is wonderful but I have bought is for zander fishing. It's a bit soft but much more sensitive and lighter than the previous model. I guess it's perfect for bass. If you want the stiff one buy XF(extrafast) not Fast.

Can I fish this in saltwater? Can ihandle 15-pound red fish or striper?

Ryan Henry 4 years ago

Yes this can handle a 15 pound fish. It is still on the lighter side but still can handle them.

Asked by Brian 5 years ago

Which of the longer spinning rods would best fit a tatula lt2500 reel with 15# daiwa 8x jbraid and 8 # mono leader for light jigging and drop shot for bass in a deep reservoir setting? I am leaning toward the 7'6" mediumlight fast, but am scared the 7'3" m

Bernie 5 years ago

The tip action would be the same as far as sensitivity but the 7'6" would allow you a little more control over the fish once hooked.

Asked by Justin 4 years ago

Will the 7ft medium balance with a 2500 spinning reel?

Sydney 4 years ago

The 7'M Daiwa Tatula would be a great pair for a 2500 class spinning reel.
