This method of constructing blanks with an outer layer of carbon tape in a crossing diagonal pattern dramatically improves power operability and sensitivity. Also outfitted with Daiwas X45 Technology these rods are designed using a 45 degree bias construction that prevents twisting of the blank for greater strength sensitivity and hook setting power. The Rebellion differs from standard carbon bass rods in that the carbon fiber compound used to build the blank contains significantly less resin. Daiwas HVF (High Volume Fiber) compound contains a high concentration of carbon fibers resulting in a rod that is lighter and more sensitive. Sensitivity is further enhanced by an Air Sensor reel seat built using a carbon fiber material that also helps reduce overall weight.
