Great Bay Fluking Rod

Craig

Loved the feel as soon as i picked it up. I have the XH one rated 1/2-3 and its my go to Bay fluking rod. Enough power in case you have to bucktail up to 4 oz or get into some blue fish. Tip is nice and sensitive. Love the finish as well on the rod, just looks sexy!

Daiwa Proteus Northeast Inshore Casting Rods Questions and Answers

Ask a Question

Asked by Anna So 6 years ago

HI I go fishing during the summer for fluke on a party boat. I really like the Proteus rod. I would like to know which line weight; either 8-17lb or 10-20lb; would be better? Currently I am using G Loomis rod 10-17lb. Which one is most similar to this rod

Ricky 6 years ago

I would recommend using the 10-20lb class rod to match the g loomis best.
