Built for those seeking to delve into the art of slow pitch jigging the Daiwa Harrier Slow Pitch Jigging Rods are designed for maximum jig control and are loads of fun to fish. Built on a thin diameter blank to achieve the optimal action for controlling slow pitch jigs the Harrier Slow Pitch is dece...ptively powerful with impressive fish stopping power despite its size and softer action. The blank is built with Daiwas High Volume Fiber (HVF) Nonoplus Carbon which contains a higher concentration of carbon fibers resulting in a rod that is lighter more rigid and more sensitive. Also outfitted with Daiwas X45 Technology these rods are designed using a 45 degree bias construction that prevents ovalization and twisting of the blank for greater hoop strength under heavy loads. With the use of these technologies the blank is able to remain thin and lightweight while achieving very high strength. Fitted with Fuji FazLite K-Guides these rods are virtually tangle free while the guides leave the action of the rod uninterrupted. All models feature minimalistic EVA split grips that are ideal for slow pitch jigging by keeping the rods action true all the way through to the butt end.

The 500NSPJ would make a great match with this rod. <p><br /></p><p>https://www.tackledirect.com/accurate-bv-500n-spj-boss-valiant-slow-pitch-conventional-reel.html<br /></p><p><br /></p>
Yes, this is a true slow pitch rod. Unfortunately, Daiwa does not give the exact jig ranges for these rods, but the weight listed in the description is the max jig weight. So, the MH would most likely be rated for jigs 100-300g.
A great choice would be the Accurate BV-300 Boss Valiant.<p><br /></p><p>https://www.tackledirect.com/accurate-bv-300-boss-valiant-baitcasting-reels.html<br /></p><p><br /></p>
No, these rods are standard conventional setup.
