Great rod with feel for amount of weight it can handle
9' 1-4 oz.
I loved this rod until i snapped it being stupid. Snagged up and pulled up just little too hard on it instead of backing up straight stick. Rod caught me hundreds of stripers and was very sensitive but powerful. I replaced it with the SP which is another great daiwa budget rod but i preferred the butt thinner butt section of the emblem.
The image shows the rod broken down into three pieces so you get a full visual of it but is in fact a two piece

The rod is a 70/30 split.
We would need to know which one you need the weight for as Daiwa doesn't have the weight specs for their rods

Mick,<p>If you want to go low-profile, then the Shimano Tranx 400/500 or Daiwa Lexa TWS 400 bait casting reels would be a good choice. If you prefer to go with a round reel, then the Avet MXL 5.8 G2 MC would be a good fit. Please let us know if there is
