Lightweight and Heavy Duty

I purchased this rod to use with an electric reel for deep dropping. I was concerned that an 8 ft rod mated to an electric would get very heavy. My concerns were aleved when I held the combination. It is light enough to hold all day and given the construction, stout enough to handle whatever bottom dweller I hook. The rod construction is exceptional- the blank, guides, wrapping… read more finishes and reel seat are all first class! Of course you're going to pay for quality of this magnitude however, I'm a firm believer in crying once so that I can enjoy the purchase for years to come. Given the supply chain situation, they are not easy to find so if you find one, don't hesitate. Get it. You will not be sorry.
