I will buy more
I use for commercial inshore, the rods is outstanding, trolling or jigging. Plans to buy more. Best rod I have bought in years.
Best buy i found
Use this rod with a 5000 size baitcast, 80 lb braid, 5 oz flutter jig, better feel than my rods at a higher price point. Inshore live catch commercial, 100s of fish, 10 lbs plus. Will buy more.
Tough but flexible
I recently purchased four of these rods to use on my boat paired nicely with a Penn battle 4000. They are superb for black seabass and even moderate size to doormat size flounder. Enough flex in the tip to tell bottom from lite bites. And still reacts well to the smackdown from those doormats. I wanted a shorter rod for my kids to manage and these have been perfect.
Ok rod
This rod is too soft for application in West Coast. A small yellowtail would give an angler issue pulling in the fish when using this type of rod.
Priced right
I have really enjoyed these rods and find as a nice upgrade to Ugly Stick for general rods for crew to use. But have had more then one snap at the tip prematurely.
Great all live baiting rod
Bought this rod because it was on sale and after playing around with it. Deemed it a better king fish rod... light. Great finesse
Owned and distributed by the same company that produces Tsunami rods
The rods this company produces are amazing. I live right down the road from them funny enough, but more importantly is the quality that their poles give you versus the price you pay for them. My stand up 80-100 conventional is so sensitive that you can not only feel every lump and bump on the bottom, and every strike, but also tough as nails on big fish. I have caught dorado,Small…

tuna, brown sharks, blue sharks, and even small threshers on this brand of rods with zero problems
Flawed Rod Tips
I bought two of these rods and both had problems with the top eye; one was missing the inside sleeve and the other's sleeve was cracked ( which cut my line one the first cast and I lost a $15 lure).
Great Value, Beatiful and detailed Rod
This is a great value Rod, check the reviews at Fishing Forums
Ande ATSJ 701 MH
Bought two of these rods. Can't beat these rods for the price. One rod had a broken ceramic insert when it arrived and had it fixed.
Caught a 40 pound tarpon and big jack crevalle first time using them. Could not be happier.
Awesome rods
I purchased two additional rods to complete my heavy spinning combos for blue water fishing (kings, dolphin, cobia, etc). These rods are very reasonably priced and are extremely reliable for lots of action.
I really like these rods
I have been using this brand rods for several years. For the price, you can't get a better rod. Tackle Direct always has the model I need when I need it.
Looks good but no backbone
I knew as soon as I started jigging it was junk and then snapped it on a 15# yellowfin
BC reel seat
light-medium game. Didn't come with a bc reel seat.
Yes, any model in these rods would match well with an SXJ.
