This is a a hate it or love it rod as for the color. I love it!!! The rod is great for all purpose fishing getting the medium heavy fast. Its been a year since the purchase. I have it paired with the 13 fishing fate black reel which looks awesome. Highly recommend!!!!

These rods are built with quality and precision they a are strong. When fighting a fish they have a good back bone, stout tip. Great product I own 10 of these rods.

Surprised this rod is only $100 - in fact, $60 on sale!!! It's light and sensitive and casts really really well. Feels like a lighter MH - or a heavy Medium - which is great since I have enough MHs anyway. This is a great niche zone which will push this rod into a more main role as it can cross over and throw more baits that way. I got it to match the Inception SZ, which with… read more the zero bearings, will also just be a killer workhorse together. I prefer cork handles myself but it would be nice to see an EVS or Winn option. Oh yeah, I love the green!

The 7'1" MH isnt bad. Has a bit more flex/action then other brand I have used. For $100 or less this would be a choice I would go for.
When I need another rod again I would grab the 7'6".

Rod's a little too stiff for the full range of fishing we do: bass, walleyes, pike in the 24/34" range and panfish

what size would you recommend to get. im gonna be rigging a baitcaster with 30 lb braid. i was thinking 7 ft 1 in med heavy. also what does the med heavy and med difference?

Medium Heavy power will work fine. Medium Heavy has a bit more backbone than a medium power would have.

This is a bass fishing rod...you COULD use it for light saltwater use but that is not what it's designed to do.
